2022 Tax Discount Deadline Approaching

Please be advised that the deadline for the early discount for municipal taxes is March 31, 2022.

Residents who pay their municipal taxes in full by this time are eligible for a 5% discount. Residents who are 65 and over are eligible for an additional 5% discount.

There are several ways you can pay your town taxes:

1. In person at the Town Office – Located at 321 Water Street, the office is open from 8:30am-4:30pm Monday to Friday. We accept cash, credit, debit, or cheque.
2. Over the phone – We accept credit cards over the phone by calling the office at 709-786-2126.
3. Direct at the bank/telebanking
4. Mailing a cheque – You can mail a cheque to
