We’re hiring summer students with the Department of Tourism!

Tourism Councillors
Musical Team Staff
Radio Bay Roberts Staff
Gardens/Marketplace Staff

The positions of Tourism Councillor are very varied, they include: one on one communication with the tourism public, having a broad understanding of our historical & geographical region, as well as the province. A Tourism Councillor also has duties dealing with tourism programming throughout the week including group, musical & culinary tours. Please note the position’s hours are varied and based on programming, as well as visitor demand. The expectation for the successful candidate is very high; a type “A” personality to communication in a bilingual environment will be needed and expected.
