Wilbur Sparkes Recreation Complex

The Wilbur Sparkes Recreation Complex is one of the best in the province. This complex includes a playground, 2 softball fields, tennis courts, ball hockey court, a regulation sized soccer pitch, a skate board park, and a BRAND NEW splash pad!

The Splash Pad is open in the summer 8am-8pm, weather permitting!

Bay Arena

The Bay Arena is a venue for many town events during all seasons of the year. Hockey, figure skating, recreational hockey, and recreational skating are featured during the winter. A full day of Winter Events is held in the Bay Arena during Winter Carnival each year.

During the summer season, the Bay Arena hosts events such as dance recitals, weddings, dances, concerts, car shows, and graduations.

Bay Roberts Swimming Pool

The Bay Roberts Swimming Pool is used for swimming instruction, recreation, and competition. The Sea Lions Swim Team have won twenty five championship titles at the Provincial Short Course Summer Club Championships sponsored by Swim Newfoundland and Labrador.

The swimming pool is seasonally operated and is open this summer!
