Branch Drop-off – Town Pit

Branch drop-off at the Town Pit is open on Fridays starting this Friday, May 6!

The Town Pit (Central Street) will be open from 8-11:45am & 1:15-4pm on Fridays throughout the summer.

Garden Refuse Specifications

• The sole purpose of the garden refuse site is to offer the residents of Bay Roberts an opportunity to dispose of tree trimmings, grass clippings and leaves.
• The garden refuse area is located at 119-127 Central Street.
• The Garden refuse area is open on Fridays from 8 am to 11:45 am and from 1:15 pm to 4:00 pm starting on May 6^th, 2022 and the scheduled last day is November 4^th.
• Items that can be dropped off include:

• • Branches (must be no larger than 2-3” in diameter)
  • Grass Clippings
  • Leaves

• Please use paper bags for the travel and storage of grass clippings and leaves.
• Absolutely No refuse shall be mixed with the branches, grass clippings or leaves when being dropped off.
• The site is not for commercial use nor is its intended purpose for clear cutting or land clearing. The pit area is for Residential tree trimming, grass clippings and leaves.
• A valid ID, showing proof of Bay Roberts Residency is required.
