Public Notice: Enjoy The Mad Rock Area & Bay Roberts Heritage Trails

Please be advised that a property owner has erected signs prohibiting trespassing in an area they claim to own. The same property owner has ​UNSUCCESSFULLY​ petitioned the court for an injunction to stop the Town and visitors from using portions of the Mad Rock area road, parking area and trails.

The Town of Bay Roberts maintains the road, parking area and heritage trails in this area and welcomes their respectful use. We ask that visitors using the area limit your activities to the established roads, parking areas and trails respecting the private property in the area.

The land use in this area has not changed and Council has not received or considered any form of development.
