Public Notice: Sale of Surplus Equipment
The Town Council of Bay Roberts wishes to advise its residents that tenders are being invited for the sale of equipment that is surplus to the needs of the Town of Bay Roberts.
Sealed tenders will be received at the Town Office up until 4:00pm on Thursday May 5th. All tenders will be opened publicly at the time of tender closing. Each piece of equipment listed has a minimum tender value that will be considered, tenders below that amount will be discarded. In the event that multiple tenders are received for the same amount on any given piece of equipment, a draw will be conducted to determine the successful bidder. All pieces of equipment will be sold in their current condition and in their current location. The following Pieces of Equipment will be available for tender:
- 1970 Grader — Tender: $1,000
- Playground equipment — Tender: $0
- Gingerbread house — Tender: $0
- 2012 International sideload Garbage Truck (Motor broke) — Tender: $0
- 920 Loader — Tender: $1000
- 936 Loader — Tender: $1000
- Sterling 2004 Dump truck — Tender: $0
- 2010 Chevy 8ft box — Tender: $0
- 2010 GMC 8ft box — Tender: $0
- 2009 Extended Cab (parts only) — Tender: $0
- 2008 Reg Cab (parts only) — Tender: $0
Sealed envelopes shall be clearly marked as follows and clearly identify which piece of equipment the tender is for. If you are interested in multiple pieces of equipment, then multiple sealed envelopes will be required.
