Town of Bay Roberts Athletics Awards
The Town of Bay Roberts has always been known as a community with a strong
sports history. The town has put in place a program aimed at acknowledging
the athletic contributions/achievements that are taking place within our
community both in the present and the past.
We are proud to announce that on Thursday, June 13th, at the Clubhouse at
Wilbur Sparkes Complex, we will be hosting the 2nd annual Town of Bay
Roberts Athletics Awards.
These awards will recognize individual and team achievements that are
currently taking place while at the same time acknowledging teams and
individuals from the past. Awards fall into two categories:
A) Nomination Based *
a. Junior male/female athlete of the year (grades 7,8,9)
b. Senior male/female athlete of the year (grades 10,11,12)
c. Team of the Year
d. Sports Volunteer of the Year

website)
B) Committee Based
a. Hall of Fame Award – each year individual(s) or teams who made
significant contributions in the past will be inducted into the Town of
Bay Roberts Sports Hall of Fame
b. “Kevin and Langdon Critch” Builder Award – this award will be presented
annually to an individual who has made a significant contribution to the
development and growth of sport within our community.
